Liberty Politics

Help build it

Liberty Score is a group project. We built the first version in October 2026. Making it right is a job for everyone who uses it.

539 politicians and 232 votes are more than one team can get right alone. The votes are checked against the official record. The summaries, the choice of votes and the writing are where you come in, and you know your own representative better than we do.

Open jobs

These 35 Senate candidates have not voted in Congress since 2021, and nobody has gone through what they have said and done. If you follow one of these races, tell us one thing the candidate said or did. A link helps. With no link, say where you saw it and we will look for it. Once we have found the words, it goes on the race page.

456 candidates have no photograph here, because we only use pictures that are free to reuse. If you know of one, or you are the candidate, send the link.

Five ways to take part

  • Say what you think. About a race, a candidate, or a grade we gave. A few sentences in your own words is enough.
  • Share a video. Paste a link about a race or a politician. A video from YouTube, X or Instagram plays right on that page. If you made it, say so.
  • Tell us something is wrong. A vote we recorded wrong, a summary that is unfair, a link that goes nowhere, a page that breaks on your phone, a sentence that made you wince.
  • Tell us something we missed. Something a candidate said or did, or a vote we should be counting. A link helps, and you can send it without one.
  • Give us an idea for the site.

What happens to it

  1. You write it in the box at the bottom of any page. The yellow button in the corner takes you there. You do not need an account.
  2. We look at it. Nothing a reader sends goes on a page by itself.
  3. An opinion or a video goes on the page of the race or the politician it is about, with the name you gave, or as "a reader".
  4. A correction is checked. A claim about a vote is checked against the official roll call. A bug is tested on a phone and on a computer. If you are right, we fix it and list the fix on this page.
  5. If it is a judgment call, such as which side of a vote is the liberty side, the hosts decide.

What goes on a page, and what does not

Your opinion goes up whether we agree with it or not. We do not pick by side or by candidate.

These do not go up: insults aimed at other readers, threats, adverts, anything private about anyone, a claim of fact about a person with nothing to back it, and anything that is not about the race or the politician on that page.

See something from a reader that should not be here? Every one has a "Report this" link. We look, and we take it down if you are right.

Your name and your email

A name is shown only if you give one. An email is optional. It is never shown and never passed on. We use it only to reach you about what you sent, and you can ask us to delete it through the same box.

What will not change a grade

Volume. Ten notes saying a senator deserves an A change nothing. One note showing a vote we got wrong changes the grade as soon as we confirm it.

Changed so far

Nothing from readers yet. The first fix could be yours.

Want a bigger say?

Members of the community argue these grades with the hosts on a group call every day.

Have your say

Say what you think, share a video, or tell us what we got wrong. You do not need an account. We look at everything before it goes on a page, and we fix what holds up.

What do you want to do?

Leave out anything private about anyone. What goes on a page and what does not

Your turn: have your say
